Why is my orchid losing its flowers?

All orchid flowers wilt and die eventually, just like all roses do. The flowers on a phalaenopsis orchid usually last a few months. If your orchid is losing its flowers sooner than this, it could be due to not enough water, not enough light, low humidity, or the age of your orchid.
