Why is my orchid dying?

There are many reasons why an orchid might die, but the most common are due to either overwatering or underwatering. Make sure you’re watering your orchid correctly and using the right potting mix, and always check the moisture level of the potting mix before watering. Other reasons for orchids dying can include lack of light, lack of humidity, and pests. If your orchid is dying for no apparent reason, it’s best to talk to a professional e.g. at a garden center for help diagnosing the problem.
