When should you repot an orchid?

The best time to repot an orchid depends on how big it has grown. In general, you’ll need to repot your orchid every two or three years, because they like to be potted in fresh potting mix every so often. Orchids don’t mind being root bound, and it’s normal for orchids to have roots poking out of their pots. But if you repot a root bound orchid, it can grow bigger.
