What does a dehydrated orchid look like?
If your orchid is dehydrated, it will have wilted, droopy brown leaves that are wrinkled and lack lustre. The stem will also be weak and may not be standing upright. If you see these signs, it’s important to take action quickly and try to save the plant. Check its roots to see whether the problem is not enough water (which it typically is) or overwatering, which causes root rot and subsequent lack of water to the leaves.
