What do you do with an orchid after the blooms fall off?

Many people toss the orchid away when the blooms fall off, but you can actually make an orchid bloom again. One way is to cut off the stalk about an inch below a node; another way is to leave it and your orchid might rebloom on its own. Losing flowers doesn’t mean that your orchid is dead.
