What do orchids eat?

Orchids photosynthesize like other plants, and need water. As for fertilizer, orchids are light feeders, so they don’t need a lot of the stuff. You can fertilize your orchid every two weeks or so during the growing season (spring and summer). There’s no need to fertilize an orchid during the winter, because it’s not actively growing then.
