Yes, tap water is generally OK for orchids. If your water has a lot of chlorine in it, though, you may want to use filtered or bottled water instead. Chlorine can damage the roots of an orchid. If your tap water has chlorine in it, allow it to stand for a few minutes and it will dissipate.
