How do you tell if you’re overwatering orchids?

One of the easiest ways to tell if you’re overwatering your orchid is to check the roots. If they’re mushy or have started to rot, that’s a sure sign that you’re giving it too much water. Another way to tell is by looking at the leaves; if they’re yellowing or wilting, that is a sign that they aren’t getting enough water, often because roots have turned rotten.
