Can you take cuttings from orchids?

Yes, you can take cuttings from orchids, but not like how you take cuttings from other plants. You need to make the orchid grow a keiki, either from a flower spike or from its base (stem). The keiki then grows into a small orchid with small leaves and roots. When it has several roots of a few inches, you cut it away with sterilised scissors, treat the opened cuts, and pot the keiki in its own pot.
